I think the first question that most computer-savvy new users of PPC's ask is, "How do you shut down this program?" Without StarTap or other (naturally inferior!) solutions, the practical answer is "You don't!" Microsoft has defensible reasons for eliminating the Exit button, but most of us don't feel comfortable without it. Just as StarTap lets you easily close other programs, it's easy to shut down itself. |
