In a little known function that seems to exist in all WinCE 2.0+ machines, you actually can run programs off the Storage Card without StarTap or any other add-on. Do it this way: Pop up the keyboard. Now, show the Start Menu. Dismiss the Start Menu, by pressing the Exit button on the side of the unit. Enter "run23" (without the quotes, sounds like "one - two - three"), and this little dialog should appear. You do have to enter the full path, and it must be in quotes, but this is how you run TuBu to restore your files after a hard reset, and without needing access to the cradle. |
